Crucial 2GB 667 Mhz CT25664AC667 DDR2 200-Pin SODIMM Laptop Memory

A small outline dual inline memory module (SODIMM) consists of a number of memory components (usually black) that are attached to a printed circuit board (usually green). SODIMMs get their name because they are smaller and thinner than regular DIMMs. The gold pins on the bottom of the SODIMM provide a connection between the module and a socket on a larger printed circuit board. The pins on the front and back of a SODIMM are not connected.
Customer Review: Minor Trouble Installing - Blank Screen
Hi. It is working fine. When you install it, you might want to check to see if when you pull the clamps apart to release the chip, if the newly installed chip pops up. I installed it about 3 times, because I was getting a blank screen. My chip was not popping up, when I removed it. This was because I did not push it into its slot a bit. It moved in snugly, without much force. Then when I tried removing it, it popped up as it should. So I slid it back into place, snugly, and closed the compartment again and turned on my computer and voila, I have 2gb of ram! Yay! So far, I have not noticed a huge amount of change, but hoping it will kick in when necessary.
Customer Review: Working Great!
I purchased this a month back to upgrade my ThinkPad T61 memory. Passed the memtest86+ test. Working great so far. Giving it 4 because of the packaging. The clam-shell pack is not good for such sensitive products, there is a good chance of damaging the module while getting it out of the shell. I'll update if I have a problem.

Customer Review: Good camera, rant about amazon packing and canon service!
I bought this camera and 2 lenses at the beginning of this month. I received the camera after a week in a small box without adequate packing. The camera had its own box etc so I didn't think much of it. (Unfortunately) I work in a technical field, so I had to "test" the camera before heading out with it. After an hour of testing the focus, sharpness et al. in my room, I noticed a big bunch of hotpixels at (3615,2145). They appeared even under ISO 400 so I had to send the camera back. I had two choices, return the camera to Amazon or get it fixed by canon; I chose the later. Canon determined that the CMOS assembly had become loose (Amazon packaging?) and fixed it. Well, I got the camera back after a week and realized that someone at the Canon service center had made 2 deep scratches on the rear LCD! After the usual apologies from canon, I was asked to send it back to them. I will get it back next week and sincerely hope they have fixed it once and for all. On a side note, the 30 dollar tripod that I ordered with the camera kit shipped in it's own separate humungous box with TOO MUCH packaging!!! I wish I could talk to the person in charge of all this and explain it to him/her :)
Customer Review: Camera
I returned the camera to Amazon. Thanks for great service and return policy. Please just make sure once you ship such an expensive and sensetive peace of equipment, pay attention to packaging.

Nikon MB-D10 Multi Power Battery Pack for Nikon D300 & D700 Digital SLR Cameras

MBD 10 For NIkon D300 Digital Camera includes MS-D10EN for use with EN-EL3e battery (sold separately)
Customer Review: Pretty good for the most part
The MB-D10 battery pack really completes my D700, giving it a really good balance in my hand and increasing the stability of the camera. The only thing I have found that is negative - the rubbery texture grip on the bottom of the battery pack started to peel off when I removed the camera from my tripod (Bogen Midi ball head, no quick release) after attaching it for the first time. Other than that, I am very pleased.
Customer Review: Nikon Multi Power Battery Pack
Merchant refused to accept ruturn of product even though unused or opened from original packaging. Poor customer service and handling of issue. Do not recommend purchase from this individual.

The receiver's onboard surround processing includes Dolby Digital Surround EX, DTS 6.1, and Dolby Pro Logic IIx (for cinema, music, and games). The AVR-1506 owes its high sound quality to premium digital-audio technologies like 24-bit/192 kHz high-resolution DACs that ensure premium playback sound from all 7 channels. If you are not listening in true surround sound at first, the receiver offers virtual surround for use with 2-speaker setups.Surround yourself with the sensational three-dimensional sound field of the AVR-1506.
Customer Review: Denon Confuses, But It's All There.
The Denon AVR-1506 is a beautiful-looking 7.1 surround receiver, albeit a little confusing. I replaced my Sony STR-DE997 7.1 receiver with the silver Denon unit just this week. I've had the AVR-1506 in my home for a few days now, and can sum up the good & bad quite easily. I tested this receiver with B&W DM603 front speakers, DM601 rear speakers, and the CC6 centre channel, all bi-wired with Monster Cable. Upon unpacking it, the first thing I noticed was the horrible remote. They really need to take a lesson from someone like Sony, or Pioneer. Button colours are horrendous to say the least, and button functions don't make much sense, considering this receiver is supposed to be the brains behind your entire system. To confuse you, Denon decided you must press 4 on the number pad for DVD input, and 5 for TV. These are PRIMARY functions and as such, should have their own button. They should not be piggy-backing on the number pad. What's great about the Denon is most certainly the sound, at least in 2-channel stereo. Although it's only rated at 75 watts per channel, the power rating is different from the standard manufacturers. And 75 watts is quite adequate, except in the case of the centre channel. I'm not sure if the centre channel receives a full 75 watts, or if there is something wrong with it, but it cannot power my B&W CC6 in Dolby Digital. Sound is very muffled, and I strained to hear voices. However, in dts mode, the centre channel works properly. (Also, with my Sony 5.1 system powering the same speakers, sound is flawless.) Other than the centre channel mystery, sound from the other speakers is quite excellent. Bass is obvious, but not unnatural. Additionally, bass, treble and the LFE (low frequency effect) can be adjusted individually for each setting. In 2-channel stereo mode, the sound was so beautiful and perfect, the Denon kept temping me to turn up the volume even louder. As for video, the Denon does a superb job, especially in comparison to the Sony 7.1 receiver that preceded it. It may interest some that, sadly, there is only one optical input. On the plus side, all the customizable surround features you would expect are there; Speaker size and distance from the listening position, individual speaker volume levels, and even room size. In terms of quality, the Denon AVR-1506 is probably the best bang for your buck. It's one of the cheapest 7.1 receivers on the market (around $450 CDN), if you can get by with one optical input.

Denon AVR-2808CI 7.1-Channel Multizone Home Theater Receiver

Denon AVR-2808CI A/V Multi Source/Zone 7.1 Receiver with Built-in Processing
Customer Review: Almost Perfect
The receiver has an amazing quality sound, the only complain is that has just 2 HDMI input. You can put a HDMI switch for less than 50$ and have it complete as another model more expensive.
Customer Review: Sound Is Great...All The Newest Features...Priced Great
Well, just bought this receiver last week and hooked it up a few days ago. I am running it with a pair of Definitive Tech BP7006's in front with a Def Tech 2002 center and a pair of Speakercraft AIM 8's in my ceiling for the rear channels...also using a Def Tech Supercube 2 in this system. The sound is great...clean sound and a lot of "punch" while watching movies...especially action movies. I bought this receiver based on reputation of Denon and recommendations from three different salespeople. I didn't want to spend a lot on a new receiver as I have a Harman Kardon AVR 245 that I also own from two years ago in perfect shape. I just thought with all the new technology, the Harman didn't have the latest stuff built into it. The 2809 is also a great receiver and I believe the only difference between it and the 2808 are the two additional HDMI inputs on the rear. Although the list price on the 2809 is about $1,150, it was also on sale that day for $999. However, I had a chance to buy the last 2808 in stock new in the box for $599...I don't need more than two HDMI's at this point and if I do, I can always use the HDMI additional inputs on the Sony XBR and run an optical audio input into the receiver....so for the price, the 2808 can't be beat. Although a lot of people compare Denon directly to Yamaha, I would have to say a close second for me would have been one of the newer offerings from Onkyo as they have some real nice features too.

the only criticism is that it lasts only 8 plus hours ,However, I use mine on GSM as well, as all the duties you give to any computer. This is worth every penny.I also like the fact that because of fact that is slightly large then the 6 Cell, it sits at a slight angle so it is even more comfortable to use the keyboard.

Yamaha RX-V750 - AV receiver - 7.1 channel

Yamaha's RX-V750 audio/video receiver delivers high-quality, future-ready performance with ultimate surround processing--all at a remarkably affordable price. The RX-V750 offers the convenience of DVD-Audio/SACD-ready analog inputs alongside the latest 7.1-channel surround formats, 192 kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog conversion for all channels, and premium Yamaha sound technologies. Finished in traditional black, the receiver will disappear in your darkened living room during movies.

When hooked up with the digital-audio output from a DVD-Video player or digital satellite receiver, the 100 watts-per-channel receiver (20 to 20,000 Hz into 8 ohms with 0.06 percent THD) handles standard 5.1-channel surround decoding for both major formats, Dolby Digital and DTS. In addition, the receiver processes Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, DTS 96/24, DTS Neo:6, DTS-ES Matrix 6.1, and DTS-EX Discrete 6.1. The extended-surround formats (including Yamaha's own) create even more expansive soundfields through the use of an additional rear pair of surround speakers, resulting in 7 discrete, full-range signals in addition to the LFE (low-frequency effects) channel: front left/right, mid-surround left/right, rear-surround left/right, and a front-center channels.

A key benefit from a Yamaha receiver, of course, is Yamaha's proprietary signal processing, including Cinema DSP (digital soundfield processing), which creates aural "imaging" that not only makes your home sound like a theater, but also sounds better than most movie theaters. Based on a wealth of measured data in real studios and halls, Cinema DSP is designed to bring out the full potential of movie sound mixes, reproducing them the way directors and sound engineers intended.

Non-Dolby Digital and DTS sources can benefit from surround processing, too. With enhanced directional steering over standard four-channel Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Pro Logic IIx provides 5.1 channels of surround processing from any stereo source--whether that's a TV broadcast, VHS tapes, or your favorite CDs, cassettes, and LPs.

And, when you're listening to multichannel presentations late at night, you'll appreciate Silent Cinema, which simulates 5.1-channel listening through a pair of ordinary 2-channel headphones (not included). Silent Cinema uses unique parameters for each soundfield to ensure accurate headphone representations of each soundfield.

DVD-Audio and SACD can each deliver up to 6 channels of discrete, full-frequency sound at greater-than-CD resolution (in the case of DVD-A, that means 24 bits, 192 kHz sampling rate versus 16 bits, 44.1 kHz for CD). In stereo or surround, the sound from DVD-Audio and SACD is packed with detail, yet smoother and sweeter from than the sound from even the best standard CD players.

This receiver also comes fully equipped with Yamaha's YPAO system, which uses a small microphone (supplied) to analyze the acoustics of your room and, based on the results, make intelligent adjustments of various speaker parameters to provide the optimum sound at your primary listening position.

The receiver offers 7 stereo audio/video input connections (all with composite-/S-video, 2 with component-video), 1 stereo phono input (with ground), 1 set of multichannel (7.1) analog inputs for your DVD-Audio or SACD player, 6 fixed and assignable digital-audio inputs (great for DSS, CD, laserdisc, gaming consoles, or minidisc), and front-panel input connections for your camcorder or other spontaneous hookup. The receiver's video circuitry is high-definition ready, too (60 MHz bandwidth for the component-video circuits), and it will upconvert composite- to S-video and S-video to component-video (720p/1080i) to simplify TV hookups.

For outputs, you get 3 standard AV outputs (stereo RCA audio with composite- and S-video) and a set of 7.1-channel preamplifier outputs, in addition to a stereo RCA (left/right) Zone 2 line-level output. Speaker outputs for all 7 main channels are sturdy binding-post type (including the left/right B Speakers set), while the Zone 2 speakers (which do double duty as "presence" speaker outputs for Yamaha DSP algorithms) feature clip-type terminals.

Last, but certainly not least, the RX-V750 benefits from Yamaha's Digital ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) build philosophy. The culmination of the best digital engineering and design possible, it brings together several key elements to create the best-sounding, easiest-to-use A/V components available.

What's in the Box
Receiver, remote control, 4 AAA batteries, an AM loop antenna, an indoor FM antenna, an optimizer microphone, a warranty card, and a user's manual.
Customer Review: Fantastic Receiver
The Yamaha receiver does all it is suppose to. I recommend a HDMI connection or port be added for a future improvement if possible. I am more than satisfied with this producted purchased about 1 year ago.

Marantz SR8001 - AV receiver - 7.1 channel

Do you call the SR8001 an "audiophile's receiver" or a "videophile's receiver"? The answer is simply "Yes"? Here, you'll find the power, flexibility, and advanced performance you expect from Marantz. And a few surprises, too! All in a new chassis size that's more convenient than ever.Let's begin with the obvious - THX Select2 certification. It's your assurance that, in addition to the power you'll need to fill average-sized rooms with theater-quality sound (125 watts continuous from each of its seven amplifiers), other performance parameters like signal-to-noise and distortion are absolutely first class. Then, the SR8001 is one of the few receivers to feature Audyssey's unique auto calibration capability. This is a significant improvement over previous "room correction" strategies in that it improves the listening characteristics of your entire room rather than for just one or two seats. On the A/V side, the SR8001 features HDMI switching for up to four sources and two display devices. And there's format conversion to HDMI with Time Base Correction so even your older video sources will look their best. If you're not quite ready for HDMI (or if your displays aren't), the SR8001 offers two assignable component outputs, too. One infrared receiver input and two IR outputs add enormous control flexibility as do two DC "trigger" outputs. In short, the Marantz SR8001 is simply a culmination of everything you've come to expect from Marantz. Refined cosmetics. Sterling performance. Sophisticated advanced to enhance your enjoyment. Let's put this even more succinctly - it's a Marantz!
Customer Review: An Audiophile standard, not department store fodder
Oh my! Comparing a Marantz to Harmon Kardon. Even old man Harmon knows his equipment is nothing more then department store product and no way in the same class as this brand. Marantz.... created by Saul Marantz. Saul was a world renowned classical guitarist who was friends with Andres Segovia and who also knew the concept of pure true to life sound over colorized attempts at rewriting how a tone was meant to be heard. Saul created a world class brand not department store fodder. It is very sad we lost in Saul in January of 1997. Very few have contributed to the audiophile hobby as much as he and his two engineering companions, Sidney Smith and Richard Sequerra have. He would be laughing if he heard of a so called `enthusiast' picking an Onkyo or HK over one of his Marantz 8000 series AV receivers. What a joke. I am partially responding to the previous review and writing a review myself. Sorry for this. I own the SR8001. I also own a ZR6001 currently in use and one of its remote units also still in use, and an SR5400 from a few years ago sitting in the closet and finally a few of their CD and DVD players. I also own two mono-blocks from the early 70's all with the Marantz name on them, now relegated to the closet because of little ones running around the house now days. I can only say one thing. Fantastic musicality and true to life reproduction of tone with incredible depth, separation and balance. I am no stranger to Marantz or Onkyo or Harmon Kardon. I have long since given up the luxury of separates due to the little ones running around the house now and my finances now having more important dependants. This has left my audio shelves quite bare. But nonetheless, I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read this incredible review of the 8001 stating it was poor quality and was not in the same class as the Onkyo's and HK's of the world. It is true the Marantz is not in the same class as these other brands but it is also true these other brands are department store fodder class while the entire Marantz line is an audiophile standard class. This is the actual class difference the previous reviewer neglected to clarify. It has been this way for more then 50 years. Old man Harmon sold out to the Japanese engineers years ago and had to go bankrupt to buy his name back when they started making those $99 `Book Shelf' Stereo systems with the HK name on them. Sad. They used to rock now they rot. Onkyo is a good home theater supplier but still only department store grade product. Neither Onkyo nor HK could find their way to legitimately driving a good pair Martin Logans or comfortably sitting on the shelf next to a Conrad Johnson but any Marantz product would be perfectly situated and very comfortable in both of the aforementioned scenarios. Ask any audiophile why you do not see a Marantz sitting on the shelf at Best buy or Circuit City. It is simple. They (Best Buy or Circuit City) couldn't sell the brand because they couldn't explain the product. It's the same reason you don't see B&Os at Wal-Mart or Martin Logan's at Fry's. It's the same reason you don't see me buying my equipment at Best Buy. It's the same reason the previous reviewer probably has a pair of lonely Boston Acoustics sitting there looking pretty sad and with no where to go. These products (HK and Onkyo) are for the average person who cannot discern the subtle but profound differences in tonality, musicality, depth, separation that a true flat response can give the human ear. Marantz is not for the light hearted it is for the audiophile. If it didn't sound good to you then I would start by looking closer at your system and the room it is in and how it is setup. I wouldn't look at the strongest part of your system, the Marantz. Or maybe you should even invest in a hearing test. OK. So I have stated my response it is time for actual review. This receiver is second to none in the `non-separates' world. It has an incredible depth and presence. I use a mish mash of speakers ranging from a center channel Mirage (soon to go) to dual Martin Logans in the front to a pair of Wharfedale Opals in the rear and for the second surrounds. I even have a pair of Infinity reference series I actually like and use with the ZR6001. But I digress. Even with this mish-mash of speakers I have, with the help of this product I was able to tune my room to an awe inspiring live uncolored and perfectly balanced theater of sound. This product is unreal. I have it controlling three rooms. But it shines in the main hall it was bought for. I have it attached to a 61" 1080p Samsung set and a Toshiba 1080p HD DVD player as well as two different satellite receivers. I have the full compliment of 7.1 speakers which are topped off with a Martin Logan Dynamo. It all sits in a 17'x21' rectangular room with a couple odd wall cutouts that make it hard to tune to the room. But this unit did 99% of the work for me and just tweaked the speakers here and there and Voila! Perfect theater! Highs - The upper range from around 15 to 20 is remarkable and never tinged with harmonics or a tinny feel as is prevalent with the Harmon Kardon's (the full line). Even the Onkyo had some restraint on the top end but the HK was just a screech owl. Even though my ears have lost some off the top end (maybe 3-5k) over the last decade or so this unit is perfectly clean as my mic and meter told me so. The HK's always left me hearing a tinny somewhat shallow blending of a screech owl and nails on the chalk board that some less experienced listeners might attribute to `excellent highs'. Unfortunately this is actually exaggerated, colored and unbound screeching; basically a loss, or worse yet, a coloring of what should be realistic tones. After all when was the last time you heard a violin play a high C that sounded like a screech owl rather then a song bird reaching for the heights of a specific well rounded but pinpoint tone? Bass - As for the bass, the unit shows uncanny restraint but not once has it lost the spatial importance of the low notes to overwhelm the ear with muddy hollowness. Nor has it ever been at a loss for power at the low end. It pounds where it is supposed to and muffs where it is supposed to. I can shake the walls without a hint of distortion or color. It puts forth a tight but free bass response that never loses the harmonics of the actual tone either digital or analog. It has never overdone the harmonics like some banger's trunk mounted kicker. The bass from Jaco Pastorius in Overture Cotton Avenue from Joni Mitchell's Don Juan's Reckless Daughter is so overwhelming yet `in bounds' (a term I made up) it nearly made me call Marantz to ask how they could release an all-in-one AV receiver with the tonal response of their Model 9! Mids - Take a listen to David Brubeck's Take Five, original release. Close your eyes and the liquid Sax will have you leaning over to shake Paul Desmond's hand. The clarity at half volume was enough to make me cry. The recording from original analog to DVD was so clear I could hear Paul Desmond's shirt ruffle as he leaned into the most important sax solo of this century at probably close to 90 decibels. Try this on an Onkyo. It was so slick you could almost hear the cigarette's ash falling into the ash tray on the table next to piano. But any way... Don't let any old amateur fool you. This is not Best Buy special or Circuit City bargain table item. It is not a plug and play item either. You can't take out of the box and simply connect cables to willy-nilly. You need to learn this unit and set it up correctly. But once done you will reap the benefits for years and probably decades to come. Finally, functionality... The Audio section has an S/N of 105db - Wow! An analog in frequency response of 8Hz - 100kHz (+/- 3 dB) - Holy cow Batman! A digital in frequency response of 8Hz - 45kHz (+/- 3 dB) - Unreal! 8 channel pre-amp out! 8 channel in! 4 HDMI in 2 out. Nice! 4 Optical's in! 3 digital coax's in! Oh yea, and don't forget... HDCD decoder, Source direct, On-screen display, A-B speaker switch, Upgradeable firmware, Auto sound calibration with the supplied mic, Gold plated connectors, Multi-room audio output, Analog to HDMI up conversion in unit or pass through!, Composite video to S-Video conversion, S-Video to component video conversion, Composite video to component video conversion. Geese! Need more? Pretty much all the decoders you need: DTS 96/24, DTS Neo:6, THX Select 2, DTS-ES decoder, DTS-ES Matrix 6.1, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS-ES Discrete 6.1, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, THX Surround EX decoder, Dolby Digital Surround EX. Who could ask for more. Well... the other guy who likes the HK might be looking a bit dopey right now in my eyes but let him enjoy his HK. I'll take my good old Marantz any day.
Customer Review: My experience is this is not audiophile
I purchased the receiver from some alley rip off artist(Scammers on audiogon or videogon - American theater stay away!) However received it brand new. It does not have the high frequency response of an Onkyo worth one forth as much and quite older. In the past I had a Harman Kardon AVR 7300 and musically there is no comparison. The marantz leaves the music lifeless while Onkyo and Harman Kardon which I have to compare this to, animate the music rather than put it into dull blunt lifeless notes. Quite frankly - and I don't care about the positive go getters who don't appreciate this. This Marantz is the worst sounding receiver I've ever heard including one I dropped off at a dumpster. This is not the first time I've owned Marantz products. It is the worst experience. The first Marantz I owned in the 1980's and it was great- high quality sound. Nearly every manufacturer I've listened to includeing HK have lowered their standards according to my very bias ears that search for High quality sound. I've experienced many receivers in my lifetime and I was shocked by this purchase. This is the third Marantz product I've owned. They were so good the first two times that I gave them a purchase without even a listen. Big Mistake..... Hey, It's fun to add to this review. I just compared The five channel Enigma DVD I have on both the marantz listed here and the Harman Kardon AVR525. I used the same eq settings on some Ashly Equalizers. All Ashly 1502's. I had the treble and bass set to as bright and booming as each unit could go. The Harman Kardon blows the Marantz off the map. Owl screech is definitely the Marantz. The HK has nice crisp highs. Thundering base. The Marantz does not have clarity and punch. For money some people will write anything and just leave you dopey eyed years later when you learn there was a difference.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras

Incorporating Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer technology, this Canon 55-250mm telephoto zoom lens captures long distance, low-light shots far better than many comparable lenses, helping you photograph the far-off action of athletes or zoom in for an intimate portrait with a blurred background. The high-zoom-ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses). More significantly, the image stabilizer effect creates an equivalent shutter speed of roughly four stops faster than the same size lens without an image stabilizer. In other words, if the slowest shutter speed you can hold a 250mm lens steadily is normally 1/250th of a second, this Canon lens will let you hand-hold shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. The lens also boasts a UD-glass lens element to correct chromatic aberration to create excellent image quality throughout the zoom range. Delivering an excellent performance at an affordable price for all photographers, the 55-250mm lens carries a one-year warranty.

Specifications

  • Focal length: 55-250mm
  • Maximum aperture: f/4 to f/5.6
  • Lens construction: 12 elements in 10 groups, including one UD-glass element
  • Diagonal angle of view: 27 degrees (at 50 feet) to 6 degrees (at 15 feet), with APS-C image sensors
  • Focus adjustment: DC motor, gear-driven (front focusing design)
  • Closest focusing distance: 3.6 feet (0.31x maximum close-up magnification)
  • Filter size: 58mm
  • Dimensions: 2.8 inches in diameter and 4.3 inches long
  • Weight: 13.8 ounces
  • Warranty: 1 year

Case Logic 13-Inch Neoprene Laptop Sleeve (ENS-13)

PRODUCT FEATURES:Outer zippered Power Pocket - a convenient place to carry AC power adapter, personal items and accessoriesProtective cover allows you to safely transport your laptop in any briefcase, messenger bag or backpackDurable, weather-resistant neoprene cushions and protects your computer
Customer Review: Not a perfect fit
This product is a less expensive option than found in the apple store; however, it does not perfectly fit the new apple macbooks. The sleeve is approximately 1 inch longer than the new aluminum macbook, which causes it to slide around within the sleeve. The incase product sold at the apple store and online fits the new macbooks perfectly
Customer Review: Nice but could be thicker
This laptop sleeve was nice but I wish it was a little bit thicker to provide a bit more cushion, just feels sorta flimsy. This might be a good thing for those who wish to stuff the whole thing in tight places.

Customer Review: All Around
This is a very nice all around camera/digital recorder. Water proof is a plus. Very clear photos. The only complaint I have is that it is a bit slow for the camera to take pictures. But then again, this is not meant for professional use. All in all, I love it.
Customer Review: Nice little camera
Since I use mainly HD video cameras I wasn't expecting too much from this little waterproof camera (buying it for that reason). I've been pleasantly surprised at the nice video it takes, as well as the photos. It struggles a bit in low light, as many cameras do. The size and shape are also very comfortable.

Customer Review: Works great, no complaints
I had read some reviews of various cassette adaptors for IPODs and how the problems they have. So I was somewhat reluctant to purchase one. This works better than I expected. The music clarity is great, I have been using it every day for several weeks without any problems. I had tried an FM transmitter, they are worthless, as it is impossible to find clear frequencies that work. I highly recommend this if you have a cassette player in your car and want to use it to play your IPOD.
Customer Review: junk
This product arrived a day late and the package had been opened (through the Amazon shipping label) and resealed with clear tape. The product did not work and I did not return it as the return postage would have been 1/2 the refund.

Customer Review: Perfect
Im not sure what the person who gave this 2 stars is talking about. Its perfect for what I need. My Acer Aspire One 8.9 inch fits perfectly, along with the powerbox charger, extra 6 cell battery, and portable mini speakers. Perhaps the user who gave this product 2 stars has the 10.1 inch vrsion which I believe is a little bigger in size. And the product description clearly says its for the 8.9 inch model. Great product.
Customer Review: GREAT CASE!!
I don't know what the other buyer is talking about. I just LOVE this carrying case. For one, it is the only one with a shoulder strap!! It fits MY Acer 8.9 inch netbook like a glove. It's PERFECT!!

JVC THL1 5.1 Channel Home Theater Surround Media System

JVC THL1 5.1 Channel Home Theater Surround Media System includes 5 Cubic Front/Center/Surround Speakers and Subwoofer which deliver theater-like audio/video experience. It features HDMI Input (1080p Pass - Through)/Output for smooth and high resolution pictures. The built-in Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II Decoders provide high quality audio. It is compatible with various play formats including MP3/WMA/WAV/JPEG AND MPEG-4 (ASF) / -2 / -1 (USB).
Customer Review: Good quality system
This digital media system is designed for small to medium size rooms. It looks good, has plenty of opitons to choose from as far as ports....you can connect mulitple components to it altogether with no hassel(xbox, usb devices, ipod and more than one hdmi device, etc); you just maneuver between the input selections from the remote. Like the majority of electronics nowadays, you can control your entire media setup from just this one remote. The only downfall of this item is that it does not have a dvd player..... If you do decide to connect a dvd or bluray, just remember to connect the rca cable as well (red & white) that's the only way you will receive your audio through the television. I would highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: Good little system, but the HDMI feature is stupid.
I've got no complaints about the audio quality, but this shocked me-- the system does not intercept or process audio coming in via HDMI-- the HDMI ports only function as a video switch... which would be nice if you needed an extra HDMI input, but it's just kind of pointless. With this system, I have to send audio to the home theater system on a separate cable than the HDMI, making the whole point of HDMI moot. Additionally, "input 1" only pairs with the toslink optical (or RCA analog) input whereas "input 2" only pairs with coax digital audio (or RCA analog)... Buyer beware. If this system works for your needs, it's a great value; if it doesn't fit your needs, you should definitely keep looking.

Customer Review: Horrible audio quality
The video quality of the camera is pretty good. I compared it with a creative vado HD, and the TS1 was much better in almost all respects. However, I was greatly disappointed to note that the TS1 records an excessively high background audio noise (hiss). It is excruciatingly high and is extremely distracting when viewing any video. I have had to do further audio processing to remove the noise, but that adds another step to my workflow. I tried it with the 'wind cut' feature on and off. It didn't make any difference, though I didn't expect it to since the only videos i have taken so far are in my room, which is pretty quiet. Compared to the Creative Vado HD, the audio noise is so high that I am wondering whether I have been shipped a faulty unit. I would love to receive comments from other users' experience with the audio quality of this camera. Of course, to hear how bad the background noise is, you would have to be recording with normal conversational volume in a quiet room.
Customer Review: Love the features of it
Amazing features. Waterproof, shock proof, dust proof, me proof (kidding) for this price is great! Some lighting outside doesn't produce the best pictures but granted I haven't read the manual completely. Still working on that. The HD video quality is amazing.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y530-7343U 15.4-Inch Laptop (2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, Vista Premium) Black

Lenovo 59-018790 IdeaPad (Black)
Customer Review: Great laptop...not perfect but great:)
Pros: 1)value for money in the price range below 800$ 2)if you like glossy screens...well this one is very nice. And yes, it's very reflective but it doesnt cause any problems even with some strong spotlights in the background. I was a little afraid that it would reflect everything and disturb actual scrren images but everyhings good. 3)4 speakers really do their job...much better than standard 2 speaker buzzzz:) 4)all the ports are located on the sides (better availability then at the back) 5)design (presonally i dont care about that in a computer but you might:) 6)external battery life indicator (nice!) Cons: 1)Vista (but i am too lazy to undergrade) 2)screen protection rubbers are under your wrists while you type (not painful, just annoying) 3)touchpad buttons could be a little more sensitive (somtimes you need a double double-click for some things to work..or is it just Vista?:) 4)loads of unnecessary programs from lenovo, norton ect. Overall i recommend this laptop for home and not hardcore(quite big and heavy) mobile use.
Customer Review: Very good entertainment notebook for the price
This is my second Lenovo notebook. The first one was a ThinkPad R61 which I liked very much. It got stolen out of the back of my car. So, liking the Lenovo product, I bought a new one. The product I am reviewing is similar to the "item being reviewed," the main differences being that I have a 2.0G processor where this one has a 2.13G processor. Build Quality: Lenovo is the company which manufactured IBM's laptop computers. IBM's laptops were designed for business users. They were tough enough to be dragged around everywhere. It continues to make laptop computers which are more road friendly than the competition, even in this unit which is "home user" oriented. On most of the competition's laptop computers for school and home use, you can twist the lid/screen and there is a good deal of flex. Not so here. This means the screen is less likely to get damaged or cracked. The rest of the case similarly has little flex which means it is well built. While the keyboard is not up to the quality of the ThinkPad line, it is still very good and does not have much flex or bend when you type on it. It is a bit heavy weighing in at over 6 lbs, but it is worth it to me when I consider that it is less likely to break. XP Drivers available on-line: The Y530 comes with Vista Home Premium. Mine has the 64 bit o/s. I hate Vista. It is bloated, slow, overly intrusive, the Start Menu was modified poorly from XP, it is cumbersome to find any administrative tools and it does not work with many pieces of business software. When Microsoft updates their operating systems, it seems that only their software works on the newer o/s. WordPerfect X3 (the better word processor!), Paperport 11.0, older versions of WordPerfect and Legal Solutions Plus and many older game programs simply won't work properly, even when you tell the system to run the program in XP mode. This, I suspect, is the reason about 75% of the business computers still run XP. Vista Ultimate and Business come with downgrade rights to XP. Here, no such rights exist; HOWEVER, Lenovo provides drivers and software on line so you can load XP!!! (XP is faster than Vista and runs everything I need!) I will be downgrading. Performance: I get the following benchmarks with Vista: Performance Test 6.1: 525.7 PC Wizard (not valid because of 64 bit o/s) = 2047 3DMark 01 = 5193 3DMark 03 = 2269 3DMark 05 = 1199 3DMark 06 = 905 SuperPI calculation of PI to 1M places takes 29.25 seconds. PLEASE REMEMBER, MINE HAS THE SLOWER PROCESSOR SO THIS SHOULD BE ABOUT 5 - 10% FASTER! In short, this machine is not as fast as my 2 year old XP based desktop which has a 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo with 2G of memory, an ATI All In Wonder X800XL video card on a Gigabyte 965G-DS3 motherboard running XP. This box is not up to speed for modern gamers. It has good speed as a home entertainment and business/school oriented system. An O/S downgrade to XP would no doubt give you an extra 10% or so of speed. Appearance and Functionality: Lenovo still goes with the industrial black look. The outside is plain dull black which is textured so as to make it easier to grip. None of the high gloss colored plastic stuff that is on so many HPs and Dells and Sony Vaios. Inside, you get a piano black high gloss plastic surrounding the 15.4" screen. The hinge is in the back of the machine, and rather than clamp the screen on the top of the box, the lid is bent and wraps around the computer/keyboard/electronics bottom section. The keyboard is surrounded by a single piece of brushed metal with a black touch sensitive multimedia controls above the keyboard and an orange volume control on the right side of the touch controls. The box contains five speakers, including an alleged subwoofer which fires downward under the computer. I would look at the Toshibas with the HK speaker systems for a better audio performance. It comes with a multi-card reader slot, dual layer dvd/CD writer, HDMI output, VGA output, 3 USB ports, modem, ethernet port, built in WIFI, Dolby Digital sound system, microphone and 1.3 megapixel camera in the lid. It includes Veriface software which allows the computer to enter your log-on password using just your image. The Veriface software is very sensitive, and works only from the right distance and at the same angle. It does not seem to be available on XP. Cons: Unlike HP, the keyboard has no angle to it, so you are typing on a slightly uncomfortable surface if you have it on a desk or table. There are four small rubber pieces which protect the screen when the lid is closed. Two are right under your wrists and my writs rub against them unless I wear a long sleve shirt. It comes with Vista and a trial version of Norton Anti-virus, which I find ineffective and annoying. The high gloss screen is a little too high gloss and too reflective under certain circumstances. Conclusion: Based on the price to performance ratio, excelent build quality and availability of XP drivers on line, I would not hesitate to purchase this unit again.

Customer Review: Great Picture decent sound
This little hdtv is great. I bought it for my ps3 and xbox 360 and the picture is amazing. The remote is huge so it's hard to lose. The only problem is that the sound quality isn't great but it's good enough. Also, there are no composite inputs for my wii but wii looks better on sdtv anyway

Customer Review: where are the bolts
Picture is sharp, however thewre were no bolts to mount the standing braccet to the tv.I emailed vendor but they refused to help.can you help?
Customer Review: Pretty good so far, really 3.5 stars
Have had this set for about 5 months now and am happy with it. PC mode is really easy and the picture is great. Initial setup was simple, even though the owners manual was worthless. I like the OPC feature a lot as this is in an area of my house that has frequent light changes. My one gripe is about the model itself. There is no real support on the Sharp website and thus no support for me to use my Harmony One remote. I wanted to just check for software updates on the Sharp site; "model not found" was all the website said no matter what format I typed in. The store I got mine from said this was the newest model, but now I wonder if it is just a "gap" model. Anyway, great TV for the money, I just wonder if I should have got the Samsung I was looking at first....
